Thank You From Cristina
Dear Family and Friends,
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who generously gave monetary support during the passing of my father, Edgardo T. Maniego (“Boy”), born on July 7, 1939, who peacefully passed away on March 10, 2026.
Through God’s care and the unwavering support of his family, my dad lived a life of strength and devotion. He took on the role of both father and mother to his children, guiding us with resilience, love, and quiet sacrifice.
Those who knew Boy remember a life lived fully—rich with stories, adventures, and meaningful moments that shone through even during life’s most challenging times. The laughter and memories he left behind continue to bring comfort and joy to everyone who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; his children—Linda and Jordan, Ricky and Joan, Cristina and Michael, and James; and his stepson, Jimmy, who predeceased him. Together with Ryuko, the mother of his children; his siblings; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and the rest of the Maniego family, we celebrate his life with love and gentle remembrance of all the memories we shared with him.
“Pops/Lolo, we carry pieces of you in everything we do. We love you forever and always, and we miss you dearly.”
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your contributions have been a tremendous help in covering funeral expenses, travel for family members, and other matters during this difficult time. More than the financial support, your compassion and presence have given us comfort and strength as we honor and remember our beloved father.
With sincere gratitude,
Cristina and family
